"Nothing is perfect and nothing is eternal."
This project explores the fragile nature of beauty and the thin boundary between permanence and disappearance.
It began with images of mythical creatures generated by artificial intelligence—a world that exists only in the digital realm. These images were then photographed onto expired Soviet Tasma film from 1986 using double exposure, allowing digital creations to return to a physical, imperfect medium. Grain, fading, and the unpredictable character of the film transformed them once again.
At the final stage, layers of cracks and damage became part of the image, not as decoration, but as another trace of time. The photographs exist somewhere between reality and fiction, the digital and the material, preservation and decay.
Like everything around us, they remain beautiful precisely because they are fragile.
